Embracing The Eternal You
Mar 07, 2025
In the Northeast, I am finally—yes, finally—seeing signs that spring is arriving. The snow is melting, warmer temperatures are on the horizon, crocuses are budding, and the birds are singing louder each morning. It was a long, cold hibernation, but I AM READY! And with that readiness comes the responsibility to step into the new version of ourselves, leaving behind what no longer serves us—just as nature does each season.
Winter was a time for deep rest and reflection, but spring invites action. It’s time to step forward with the wisdom gained from our inner work. I had the privilege of attending a retreat with Dr. Joe Dispenza in February, and when I returned home, I felt so transformed that I couldn’t even remember my old routine! That experience reminded me of a truth I hold close: we will be with ourselves for eternity. Think about that—eternity. No matter where we go, what dimension we find ourselves in, or who we are with, we are always with ourselves. If we are truly eternal beings, existing across time and space, then the most important relationship we will ever have is the one with ourselves. So why not choose to love and embrace who we are now?
This concept is both freeing and daunting. If we are destined to be with ourselves forever, why spend another moment in self-criticism, self-doubt, or fear? Instead, what if we dedicated our energy to truly knowing, accepting, and nurturing the one constant in our journey—ourselves? Imagine the ripple effect that self-love could have, not only in this lifetime but in every future experience and reality we encounter.
So...check in with yourself! Take inventory, ask yourself: How much do I truly love myself? Your external world is often a direct reflection of your internal world. Here is a story to help explain...
A longtime client of mine recently reached out after eight years. During our session, she told me her daughter was mad at her, her boss and coworkers disliked her, her husband had moved out, her mother was angry with her, and she had been diagnosed with cancer. She felt completely victimized by life. I asked her, “Do you see the connection in all of this? It’s you. You don’t love or like yourself, so the world mirrors that back to you. When are you going to empower yourself and choose a different possibility?”
As we dug deeper, we uncovered that she was living solely from her subconscious mind—repeating the past over and over, never allowing anything new to enter her reality. And how can anything change when we refuse to create space for new possibilities? If she is with herself for eternity, why continue choosing suffering?
Spring is a time of renewal, and with it comes the opportunity to shift our mindset, rewrite our beliefs, and choose a new path.
So, I invite you to take inventory.
Where do you stand with yourself?
What outdated beliefs are you carrying that no longer serve you?
And most importantly, how can you start choosing a life that reflects self-love, empowerment, and growth, not just for today, but for eternity?
This season is yours. Step forward into the new, transformed, eternal version of YOU!
